On April 11, 2025, Ph.D. candidate in biological anthropology Alexis Amann successfully defended her dissertation titled “Socioendocrinology of a coercive primate: Correlates of takeovers and glucocorticoids in wild female and male hamadryas baboons.”

Her advisor Prof. Larissa Swedell and the GC PhD Anthropology program wish Dr. Amann some well deserved rest and success in all her future endeavors!
