On May 21, Ph.D. candidate in cultural anthropology Helen Panagiotopoulos successfully defended her dissertation titled “The Question of Money: State, Protest, and Informal Currencies in the Wake of Greece’s Economic Crisis.”

Her advisor Prof. Ida Susser and the GC PhD Anthropology program wish Dr. Panagiotopoulos some well deserved rest and success in all her future endeavors!
